Back from Berlin. Had an amazing and inspiring time, working together with Janne Räisänen, creating artwork
for the WINTER COLLAGE exhibition.
The exhibition (including the work that Janne and I made, and some of my older collage works) will run from
11.12.2014 until 21.12.2014 and is open daily from 2 pm till 7 pm, and by appointment. WINTER COLLAGE is
curated by Mika Mario Minetti for Musterzimmer.

Welcome to join us at the opening of WINTER COLLAGE on Thursday December 11th 2014, a group exhibition curated by Mika Mario Minetti for Musterzimmer.
Musterzimmer presents WINTER COLLAGE, an exhibition with ten international artists coming together for the first time to explore the art of collage. The history of collage dates back to the invention of paper more than two thousand years ago. In the visual arts, the technique of assembling different forms, materials and ideas became prominent among painters and sculptors during the early stages of 20th century modernism. Ever since, collage art has developed into new dimensions by means of photography, video and performance.
For Musterzimmer’s winter exhibition, we have invited artists to show individual and collaborative works at Meinblau Projektraum, located in the historical site of Pfefferberg in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. The exhibition will run from 11.12.2014 until 21.12.2014 and is open daily from 2 pm till 7 pm, and by appointment.
OPENING PARTY: THURSDAY DECEMBER 11TH 2014 FROM 7 PM TO 11 PM. FREE ADMISSION.

Proud to announce! Mijn werk is vanaf nu ook te koop bij LOODS5.
Oktober
In mei maakte ik een schilderij van 150x180 cm in opdracht van vtwonen.
Het werk staat nu in het magazine én het hangt momenteel in de RAI, op de woonbeurs.
Augustus
Al sinds 2003 wil ik een boek maken over en vóór Mathilde Willink. In alle stilte ben ik in 2013 in deze droom gedoken. Afgelopen anderhalf jaar heb ik hard gewerkt aan mijn boek. Mathilde was en is een Muze, een Mysterie, een excentrieke en intelligente vrouw. Deze kant is naar mijn mening 36 jaar onderbelicht gebleven.
Goed nieuws! In juli 2014 is het officieel vastgelegd; ik heb mijn contract getekend en mag nu vertellen dat mijn biografie over Mathilde eind 2016 uit komt. Uitgeverij Lecturis gaat mijn boek uitgeven. More soon...!

In juli voorzag ik de 65 m2 stand van kinderkledingmerk NOPPIES op de RAI/Modebeurs van artwork en typografie.

Het doek in opdracht van vtwonen staat klaar om opgehaald te worden.
In oktober staat het werk in het magazine.

Naast schilderen en ontwerpen, ben ik druk bezig met het schrijven van de biografie van Mathilde Willink. Daarvoor heb ik afgelopen periode veel materiaal verzameld. Drie Polaroids uit mijn collectie worden momenteel geëxposeerd. Ze zijn rond 1975 gemaakt door Adrian Stahlecker: kunstenaar, schrijver en goede vriend van Mathilde.
De Cult Club organiseert i.s.m. NRC de expositie Polaroid! An homage to the uniqueness. De opening is vrijdag 30 mei in het NRC Café. Aanvang 17.00 uur. De Polaroids van Mathilde zijn nog t/m 12 juli te bewonderen op dezelfde locatie: Rokin 65, Amsterdam.

Mijn werk in Sydney, Australië, opgespannen en opgehangen door opdrachtgever Les Interieurs.

Afgelopen periode maakte ik in opdracht Lisette Wevers (LIS magazine) en haar gezin een schilderij. (120 x 160 cm. Mixed Media) Het werk bevat foto's van Lisette Wevers' kinderen en kernwoorden/data die veel voor het gezin betekenen.

Three new works waiting for me to roll & send them in a tube to my client Les Interieurs in Sydney, Australia. My cat Kashka is peacefully sitting on the works. ('no art and no animals were harmed', haha!) Check out the paintings here.

Eind februari verschijnt het boek Losleven, van Jan Wolter Bijleveld. Inclusief typografie van mijn hand.
